3 possible shrinkage models used
By default the most accurate model will be used
Corrected residual in-mold stress (CRIMS)
Uses state-of-the-art theoretical model to predict thermally and pressure induced residual stress. Prediction accuracy is improved by comparison with experimental data.
Requires shrinkage data, most accurate model
Predictions good in trend and magnitude
Uncorrected residual stress
Similar to CRIMS but theoretically predicted shrinkages not corrected with measured data
Shrinkage data not required
Predictions good in trend
Residual strain
Shrinkage data required
Good in trend, generally good in magnitude but not as accurate as CRIMS
